Championship Weekend Picks

Holy shit I crushed dick last weekend. (Not to brag) Chiefs, easy. Pats, easy. Eagles, so easy! After a 2-2 wildcard weekend, it was nice to get back on the right side of my scumbag bookie. Every week in the NFL playoffs gets harder with the market becoming more and more efficient every game. With the market at its best this week I didn’t think I would love my picks, but I loooove my picks. I love my picks so much you should fade the hell out of me. I love my picks so much there is no way any of them hit. If you couldn’t tell, I love my picks.

New England Patriots @. Kansas City Chiefs (-3)

Last weekend the Patriots played a perfect game. It helped the Chargers played in a soft zone and just let Tommy shred them apart like a surgeon for eight to ten yards at a time. The Chiefs didn’t look amazing on offense, but their defense came out to play getting into the backfield and giving the Colts nerd behind center nowhere to throw.

Listen, I know it’s Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, but no way would I take them here on the road against the Chiefs and their superior roster personnel. While the Chiefs defense has been a mess all season, they are actually a top 10 defense at home. If the Chiefs can get

Pick: Chiefs -3

Los Angeles Rams @. New Orleans Saints (-3, Over 10000)

First off, hammer this over or quit reading this blog. I’m biased with my overs because frankly speaking I would rather lose betting on the over than win betting the under, just my preference of gambling. That being said this over is just praying for you to take it. All week I have been hearing these hot take nerds in the national media spewing bullshit about how this game is going to be a defensive game and both teams are just going to run the ball all game. These sacks of shit really think they’re drawing up the game plan or some shit. Egomaniac fucks like Colin Cowherd, Jason ‘snacks’ Whitlock, and Rob Parker can all shove it up their ass.

Last time these two teams met there were 75 total points scored… 18 more than the total is set this year. That game was played fast and aggressively by both coaches and both teams had a chance to win the game until the Saints ran away with it in the final minutes. I can’t think of any reason why this game would not be the same and whoever scores in the 40’s wins. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ll be wrong taking the over than be a coward and take the under.

Secondly, you have to take the points here, no exceptions. The Rams are playing better football this late into the season, are healthier, and have better offensive and defensive weapons. The only advantage I see the Saints having is home field and Drew Brees. However, you take the crowd out of the game with some early scoring and if Aqib Talib can hold Michael Thomas under 200 receiving yards, the Rams win this game outright.

Pick: Rams +3, over 1 million.
